Truth is slippery. 

A lot more slippery than any of us want to admit. 

And we do have to, in a sense, choose what to believe.

Pontius Pilate seemed quite comfortable with that. Jesus was "talking truth" and Pilate lived in a place of work where “truth” was meaningless. All that his employer cared about was results!

 

The world’s vision of truth is attractive.

It allowed Pilate go back to his home at the end of the day…it allowed the Priests to deal with that "problematic man Jesus" while still being able to eat the Passover. 

It sends the crowds home from the protest hoping that the rebellion will start soon and be successful. (That sure sounds familiar doesn’t it!) 

 

Pilate was dealing with those "pesky" Hebrews. 

The poor guy is the governor and he can’t even get the latest group of complainers to come into his house because it’s Passover, that would make them “unclean,” and they wouldn’t be able to eat the sacred meal.

Now Imagine that!! 

Being the governor, and having to go outside to hear the complaints of your subjects? Your subjects whose "truth" meant that your palace was unclean? You can understand why the guy got maybe a bit sour.

 

His employer just wanted the people under Pilate to behave!

That was a pretty tall order among a people as fiercely independent as the Israelites. The Romans didn’t care all that much how order was maintained; they just wanted Pilate to "make it happen"! 

Israel after all, was a center of commerce, and disturbances, and rioting there were inconvenient and they were expensive.

All of this left very little time for Pilate to talk philosophy with this troublesome Jesus fellow. He needed results! 

"Truth" for Pilate meant keeping order, keeping peace, keeping his job. That’s what he chooses to believe in. Even so…he tried to give Jesus a fighting chance.

But the crowds? 

Well, they don’t cry out, "What is truth?"

But, they did CHOOSE what to believe.

 

Jesus has proclaimed a Kingdom of Truth.

THE truth that God’s will is realized when we live lives of compassion and healing. 

 

A truth that we are all loved by God and called to live this love out for one another. It’s a truth that has stood the world on end…

...But the crowd decides instead to believe in the old standby.

The sword.

 

Barabbas the thief, who was a violent man, the kind of guy who is useful to a revolution, is the one they cry out for. 

They want what they want…

..and so, aren’t really all that different from Rome or Pilate in their way of dealing.

They’ll trade truth for the hope of what they’ll see in terms of "results." 

 

And, we all too often...

…We choose on our own, what to believe as well. 

 

Repentance means "to turn" in the scriptures, to "turn away from. 

But it’s not easy! 

And it doesn’t help that the words of our Master—(who stands in passive protest against the established powers of the world as he answers Pilate), has had his words mangled and misinterpreted over and over again by those who frankly, wanted Jesus to sound a little more like "them."

 

The world teaches us its version of truth.

The world teaches us to think: "It’s mine, I earned it."

Jesus says, "It’s a gift, share."

 

We learn to think, 

“They need to follow my rules." 

Jesus says, "The greatest rule is love."

 

We learn to think, "I’ll give when my needs are met." 

Jesus says, “Think that way and you’ll always need more.”

 

We learn to think, "me first." 

Jesus says, "be last."

 

The world’s truth keeps you from ending up like Jesus. 

It gets you to resist taking a cross for what IS truth.

 

Believing in something means acting and sacrificing for something, and what Jesus wants from us is not our dying, but rather that we live a life dying to our own selfish ambition which most are VERY proud of. (They will tell you exactly how proud they are of their achievements and skills often, or, live secret lives of self gratification because THEY deserve the rewards!) 

 

The cry of God’s heart is that we would understand that,

the “way of God” is way beyond "our way". 

The way of God IS our call, 

and that the way of God is the path to freedom.

 

In the end, we have to choose what to believe in. 

Fortunately for us, faith is also a gift, a gift God gives us.

But that doesn’t mean living it doesn’t take some effort. 

We are called to be light to this world. 

We are called to care. 

We are called to make the effort! 

 

Let's walk with our Master. 

Let's take the path of sacrifice, and let our lives reveal and radiate the joy of "living out God’s love" for others.

Perhaps then, the world will see that "what is truth"...

...Is truth.

FROM POSTING A LIVE AUDIO PLAYER

DEAR FRIENDS OR READERS. THIS IS MOST POSSIBLY ONE OF THE MOST SUCCINCT WORDS THAT THE LORD HAS GIVEN TO ME TO SHARE THIS FAR IN MY LIFE WITH HIM.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISH AS MEMBERS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD 

IS DONE BY THE POWER OF GOD, 

AND BE EVER SO CAREFUL! KNOWLEDGE CAN BE MISTAKEN FOR MATURITY. 

The Times are RAPIDLY Changing, and I know that for me, it will require a different strategy to handle them and that I must be willing and able to walk out the days ahead. It seems as if I identify with the prophet Jeremiah more often now than ever before. And so, I am CHOOSING to adjust the way of delivering my portion of what the Spirit of God would give me, as He leads me. Daily.

I AM IN WORDLESS, TEAR-STREAMING GRIEF over the rapid forms of meditation, eastern mysticism, competitive daily trendy "prophetic" articles/words (advertisements!) -and outright fear mongering one moment and then "hysterical" any moment breakthrough messages, (both which, recycle over and over, that are sweeping into the Body of Christ.

Facebook posts are loaded like a buttered baked potato with a big scoop of sour cream, and belch out sarcasm; shaming, smug and rude "thumbing the nose" at any warnings or loving corrections, and the devouring and public slandering has become unbearable.

WHEN PEOPLE REFUSE TO LET GOD BE THE JUDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL,when they inject their own standards to oppose His, these people who are "usurping" assume a sovereignty or power that belongs only to God. They choose to undermine God’s order, in order to demand their own, and in doing this, they hope to avoid the pinpricks of their conscience. After all, "if it's legal" then it must be right! Right?" No. God’s law is not so easily escaped or fanned away as an old dusty list of metaphors.

CONCEIT AND PRIDE ARE THE GREATEST ENEMIES TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH!  Newly "acquired knowledge" or notoriety often leads to pride rather than wisdom. There is no more certain way to fall into sin and self-deception than to allow pride to lead us into putting confidence in ourselves rather than God. This kind of pride always leads to destruction, because it robs us of God’s power to stand against temptation!

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISH AS MEMBERS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS DONE BY THE POWER OF GOD. AND, KNOWLEDGE CAN BE MISTAKEN FOR MATURITY. 

True knowledge is designed to bring us TO maturity. 
When we parade our so called freedom before others in an effort to reveal how much we know, we reveal our immaturity and are treading on dangerous ground! Knowledge put on PUBLIC display leads to heartbreak and divisive scattering...

The Western Style "First World Church" is caught up in so many identity crises! And, with the many pushing movements and meetings, the voices crying out and weeping in the places of preparation (the wilderness) saying, "You! Yes YOU! Prepare the Way of the LORD!... ...straighten out those crooked, twisted paths!" -are suddenly being told to step back into a place of silence and travailing prayer, determined to lean in closer to THE Voice that is small, still, and sure.

ONLY TIME SPENT WITH THE LORD, like a dear friend, will fill the gaping ache you have. He will speak, He will comfort, and He will show you what is true and what is false in the days ahead if you will return to that Place of companionship with Him. Away from the opinions of men and the noise of this life. As you turn your heart and hopes towards him you will see compassion poured out upon you and you will then have his power of pure godly compassion and “wisdom driven” grace to pour out on others.

SPEAK TO HIM WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART, 
YOUR LONGINGS, 
YOUR HEARTACHES, AND YOUR DREAMS. 
HE WILL BE THERE WITH ARMS OF STRENGTH 
TO RESCUE YOU FROM DESPAIR."

“A Prophetic Word” 
Can you not hear my voice speaking to you clearly? 
Has it become clouded with the cares of this life and the voices of men articulating what they “think” is my voice?

My time for you to hear the truth is never when man decides it. The world screams that all the chaos and change is turning and twisting men's hearts away from me. But when I speak and when I move and I am lifted up, men's hearts ache for me!

There is a greater power in my silence then there is in the shouting of mankind saying that I do not exist! 
It is folly and foolishness to think that man can try to silence or attempt to erase me!

I am preparing for myself a bride. Not a foolish, emotionally lovesick self-seeking bride! No I am seeking and preparing for myself a mature godly gathering of those who will become one and unified with and in me. I am the one that is shaping and fashioning this bride in the refining fires that are currently burning across the earth.

Men may try to redefine me, say that I do not exist, they may attempt to twist words that I have spoken in order to fit the base agenda in their own souls, but all the while I am shaping and fashioning and preparing for myself an army and a bride that will not be defeated in the days to come. 
Adjust your thinking child!

I am not a God to be dictated to or to be demanded of! 
I am one to be approached with brokenness and humility! Those who have a contrite heart and a right spirit are the ones that I will answer. 

There is a time coming when I will sweep away and clean up the false examples of prophetic ministry claiming and declaring things that have nothing to do but glorify the flesh.

If a person's heart is not right with me, no matter what they declare, decree, or shout, it will fall upon ears of deafness in heaven. I desire truth in your inward parts.

Let me reduce you to love.
Stripping away title, presumption and secret desires for notoriety. In order to be like me you have to live like I did in the earth. I served mankind and was spat upon. I spoke truth and I was mocked. I challenged the proud and religious thinkers of the day and they desired to silence me and kill me.

I am calling you my people to become honest in heart, broken and humble before me, and with willing and heart to serve me, and those that I send to you. It is not their external condition that you are to judge, nor categorize.
Your job is to share my life my light and my love with them. And in your example of how you treat them is how I see you treating me. 

Show no favoritism but humble yourselves in my site and do the work of my servant.

Yes, the days are changing and the mandates for your life are becoming more defined. Bow before me and reconnect your heart to truth and simplicity and the grace of knowing that you were purchased with a life poured out so that you might live life to the fullest.

The Restructuring and Refurbishing Of Everything - “THE CHALLENGE BEGINS”

A Prophetic Insight For Today's Church

The Lord has shown me that there are a great number of Divine plans being drawn up and a re-designing going on in the lives of those called to move into the roles of Kingdom modeling of the Father's heart, the Savior's desire, and the Holy Spirit’s purest functions in the Body.

"See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms.

To uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow.

To build and to plant."

- Jeremiah 1:10

  

A PHASE OF "REFURBISHMENT"

The Lord spoke to me in this time about His house of worship. 

As we put first and out in front of everything else, the “becoming of safe shelters” and hearts of men surrendered to him as yielded vessels, there will be rooms re-designed by the "Master’s craftsmen" that will be filled with strategically planned prayer initiatives, music rooms equipped with "unpolluted spiritual headsets" to hear the songs of the Kingdom and then actually record and share them freely. 

Church sanctuaries will become more like "family rooms" where multi-cultural groups become "one family" as they fix their eyes on upon the "fireplace" of the presence of the Holy Spirit and His Upper Room visitation type of power and might, accompanied by inspired teaching from God’s word.

 "I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me,

And what the King had said to me.

They replied, "Let us start refurbishment."

So they began this good work.

~ Nehemiah 2:18

  

I AM RESTRUCTURING EVERYTHING

"Yes says the Lord!  I Am restructuring everything in your lives that I have allowed to be taken and shaken from you! How can you be examples of My fresh demonstration in the earth with the worn out living of the past?

Those who continue to cling to the accolades of the past and bygone ministry meetings and services (even if they were recent) will receive a limited amount of new responsibilities until they realize that the past is... PAST!

Each day is a new day and needs a fresh approach to the fresh design template that I AM revealing!"

"The day for building your walls will come, 

the day for extending your boundaries."

 Micah 7:11

The unseen prophetic and travailing groups of individuals, who are being shaped into the fabric of my own weaving, are currently being made ready for a swift and dynamic change of stride. 

What was once long and hard will become shortened and filled with purpose. Release of My grace and abundant mercy is coming into fulfillment as you end your cycle of instructions for this past season. 

"My friends don’t be surprised at the painful things that you are now suffering, 

Which are testing your faith. 

Don’t think that something strange is happening to you.

 But you should be happy that you are sharing in Christ’s sufferings.

You will be happy and full of joy when Christ shows his glory."

1 PETER 4:12-13

SHOUTS OF JOY

There will be shouts and tears of joy as heaven moves upon the hearts of wise, kingdom-minded saints, who have been given grave responsibility over heavenly blessed currency.

My sober, truth-seeking saints, will hear my voice and will not be moved by flashy pleas for glamorous support and promises of free gifts in return!  No! They will be led by the counsel of my Holy Spirit to be vessels that release a steady flow into the hands of those ready to only build with the name "Jesus" on the final product.

The financial institutions will be dumbfounded as supernatural windfalls hit many believers, while worldly concepts and scheming only further muddy the waters of universal finance.

RE-ESTABLISH A NEW "HABITAT OF WORSHIP"

Allow Me to do this work of re-construction without hindrance or fear!

I will RE-ESTABLISH a new "habitat of worship" within each of My people who allow Me to walk into each room of their hearts, tearing out the embedded dirt, grime and staleness of passive and fearful living.

Accusing and harsh judgments, disrespect for others who have devoted their time in preparation, and -critical attitudes will be purged again and again in the hearts of believers who have yet to see those whom I lovingly call beloved and faithful, even though viewed as awkward or fragile in the eyes of the immature or worldly heart.

"All who belong to the Lord, 
 show how you love him!


The Lord protects the faithful, 
  

But he firmly rebukes
 everyone who is proud."

Psalm 31:23

A TIMELESS DESIGN

It is the day for each member of My Body to think of themselves as one Godly unit, ready to honor and edify each unique Master plan of their King.

It's the hour where building upon egos and entitlement is over and the conviction of My Spirit goes to work, until the knowledge of humility and eternal reward are viewed as the most perfect and timeless design.

 "Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts,

Try to excel in gifts that build up the church."

~ 1 Corinthians 14:12

AN ASSURANCE FOR RELIEF

As the training in humility and gentleness of “heart-expanded compassion” are applied in your lives as friends of Me, your King, your souls will stop from striving and from chasing after lofty goals you set out to accomplish in your own strength.

You will learn to listen to the wisdom and warnings of others in simplicity and in humility. In gentleness you will sincerely approach one another as I the Lord do to you.  Although I am the wisest among you, I put no heavy yokes or shameful methods of performance upon my children.

I simply yoke them to Myself in a promised rest when they yield humbly. 

"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,

For I am gentle and humble in heart,

And you will find rest for your souls."

Matthew 11:29

A PROPHETIC WORD CONCLUSION:

" Hear Me!  - Cries the Spirit of Holy Grace and Mercy!

I desire to move upon, in, and through each of you. Not one of you alone can endure the onslaughts of evil by standing aloof and silent. Nor can the most vocal of gifts among you clearly communicate all that I long to express.

Until each one is willing to step into the Holy place of pure relationshipwith Me and with one another, waiting, crying out in prayer, Yes - even waiting until I come and refresh, then those ready for training and release who are waiting in the wings will not fully come forward.

Until it is imprinted into your heart that this segment in time is for the saving of the lost, the redeeming of the wasted, and the release of the power of My glory, you will be so very frustrated by the heaviness that continually harasses your soul.

What I authorize, I protect. 

Be certain that you have heard what I am saying.

I am fully aware of the weariness and fatigue you have been experiencing. Heavier than anything you can recall from the past.

“Do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, 

As though something strange were happening to you!” 

1 Peter 4:12

There are many others globally who are also still wrestling out of the cocoon in newness and are suffering also. PRAY FOR THEM!

Conflict will be a normal disturbance in the days ahead. Unless you harness the power of consistent prayer and train yourselves in regular gatherings of prayer and worship together, you will shrink back into serious doubt, anxiety and dread when the trauma of warfare attacks!!

GIVE VOICE TO MY SPIRIT!

Awaken your silent tongue and give voice to my name, My power and My Kingdom Solutions! No resistance executed against you will ultimately succeed! My Spirit longs to broadcast wonders, to decree Justice, and to destroy darkness with your lips proclaiming from the spirit. 

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: 

It will not return to me empty, 

But will accomplish what I desire 

And achieve the purpose for which I sent it." 

Isaiah 55:11

 Speak out in truth and in praise and I will step into your midst with the peace you have been craving and seeking for. Quickly! Enter in before you make decisions and exchange ideas with others who might dilute what I am speaking to you!

When I am given My rightful place of honor and reverence…

… Then I will speak and give you clear vision and direction."

"In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning

I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. "
