THE GREAT OVERHAUL OF THE CHURCH
A prophetic teaching from the Holy Spirit through Mary Lindow

"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory
in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself
restore (overhaul) you and make you strong, firm and
committed." ~ 1 Peter 5:10

We have all heard about the re-possessing of an automobile or a
home, and understand that this occurs when something is being
taken back, re- possessed - because the terms of payment were
not met.

So in a similar way, the church at large is being "re-po-ed"...in
the sense of repossession or re-po-sition!

REPOSITIONED FOR WHAT?

We have been hearing the words shifting, shaking, re-aligning,
reformation, and so on… for over three to four years now. God
is sending a clear warning shot across the bow of the "church
ship" which is now finding itself in uncharted waters. I think
that if we were all totally honest about it, we could even say that
we feel like there have been times we have all been one of the
members of the famous Gilligan's Island tour group, simply
looking for a pleasant experience on the USS Minnow, only to
find ourselves on a strange island rather than returning from a
three hour tour!

THE WEATHER IS GETTING ROUGH!

Amazingly, the theme song for Gilligan's Island had a verse in
it that goes like this:

“The weather started getting rough, The tiny ship was tossed, If
not for the courage of the fearless crew, The Minnow would be
lost!”

IS THE CHURCH LOST AT SEA?

It might appear that we are in a place of great turbulence and
with all of the earthly calamities that are roaring in unrelenting
waves, we might feel that the place we used to run to for
security is also in a major crisis of sorts! The storms are raging
literally with hurricanes termed as, "biblical in proportion" by
many media reporters!

Local church establishments are inundated with traumatized
people from not just hurricanes! Utility bills are predicted to rise
anywhere from 70 to 90% due to the "Oil"shortage. Major
corporations are laying people off from long-
term jobs.
Inflation is on the rise, but cost of living salary adjustments
are...disappearing! The Swine Flu is being dramatized and
claimed as potentially "pandemic!" And we haven't even
touched the issues of homicides, child kidnapping, and the rise
in pornography and abuse issues!

THE AMAZING SHRINKING CHURCH WALLET

As people of church affiliations of all expression feel the pinch
in their wallets begin to irritate and hamper their lifestyles, the
church is going to experience a major tremor. YES. TREMOR!
What was once applauded as an " Ambitious visionary
advancement" into greater influence, will soon become a
burdensome weight to those who presumed that God was into
the "Marketing and Merchandising" wave of luxuriously
pampering the bride of Christ! Sort of like the story of the
Princess and the Pea. No matter how many mattresses were
stacked one upon the other, the pouting and over indulged
princess could still feel the irritating little pea resting underneath
all of them.

THE COMFORTER VERSES THE CONVICTOR

Somehow. The Holy Spirit has been diluted into some esoteric,
floaty, glitter duster who simply drops heaps of goodies on fat
little sheep, never warning them about over indulgence,
sluggishness or sloth! Let's look at what the Lord himself said
to us about the Holy Spirit….and the roles He plays.

COMFORTER
”But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Holy Spirit) comes, He
will guide you into the whole, full Truth. For He will not speak
His own message on His own endorsement; but He will tell
whatever He hears from the Father. He will give the message
that has been given to Him, and He will make known and
declare to you the things that will happen in the future.”
John 16:13

CONVICTOR
“And when He comes, He will convict and prove to the human
race and bring demonstration to it, about sin and about
truthfulness of heart and right standing with God and about
judgment: About sin, because they do not believe in Me, trust in
Me, rely on Me, and hold on to Me.”
John 16:8 & 9

WHEN THE BENEVOLENT GET TIRED OF GENEROSITY

Already, the coffers of Bail-out Aid, Earthquake Aid, Hurricane
Aid, Tsunami Aid, 9/11 Aid have been fed into the enormous
gaping black hole of need. And... for a while people will pull
together to make heroic attempts to bring a fix to the problems
all of these catastrophic events churn up.

But! Ask folks to give sacrificially and then…you will see a real
reason for the need of the laser cutting conviction of the Holy
Spirit!

If we who call ourselves believers and followers of Jesus lean
upon either our own personal wealth and blessings as a place of
safety or…if we lean upon the wealth of others if we have little
ourselves…thinking that either of these things are
acceptable…we will continue to have the shaking and
convicting of the Holy Spirit "ROCK OUR WORLDS!" YES!
Both in a planetary way and in our own little "spheres of
influence" until we awaken to the reality that we are to see our
lack of trusting, leaning, relying, and holding on to Jesus as
SIN!

IN GOD WE TRUST?

When we trust in self implied or planned securities and rely on
them, or when we hold on to a hope that the wealthy among us
might be our source and answer to needs unmet…we have
wandered very far away from the shores of safety in Christ!

Human beings and yes… "CHRISTIAN" human beings can
become very protective of their "assets" if they are not in a place
of brokenness and listening to God's plan for them to share
"honestly" with others, without contempt for their lowly place
and genuine neediness. One needs to only look at the story of
Lazarus and the rich man to know how cruel the worldly and
corrupt folks of wealth treat their fellow brethren. But also…let
us not forget Annanias and Sapphirah whom were supposed
believers… who lied to their brothers and sisters, the Apostles
and above all, the Holy Spirit about their self-protecting and
devious plan!

THIS FULLY ADDRESSED THE SETTING THEN AND
ALSO RIGHT NOW IN THE ERA THAT THE CHURCH
IS IN!

When those who have substantial blessing and abundance start
turning to "selective" blindness when they see another family
member in the Body needing assistance to be sent into mission
locations to care for the devastated or to train a new emerging
generation into truth and instructed direction, and simply
continue to say things like; "God bless you, I will pray for you,
Be at peace!" …God does not Himself…turn a blind eye to
their darkened eye of soul.

HE SEES THE WICKED HEART OF THE LOVERS OF
"SELF PRESERVATION AND GRATIFICATION"

And

HE SEES AND HEARS THE HEART- CRY OF A
GENERATION AGONIZING TO BE RELEASED
AND SENT.

John 16:20
“I assure you, most seriously I tell you, that you shall weep and
grieve, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but
your sorrow will be turned into joy.”

“WHEN ONLY GOD IS LOOKING- DO WHAT IS RIGHT”

Are you in a place where you risk laying down what might cost you your past history and which will create a new and fresh beginning in the walk of the
saint on earth?

ARE YOU LONGING FOR REFRESHING FROM THE HEART OF GOD THE FATHER?

Sadly, many choose to return to the safe place of familiarity and control
to gain perspective, and lose the joy set before them.

THE FATHER IS WATCHING THOSE WHO ARE NOT CREATING AGENDAS
AND PROGRAMS TO ATTEMPT TO HAVE AN "EDGE" DURING THIS LONG
SEASON OF TRANSITION FROM SOWING TO HARVESTING.

He is allowing the breaking and "coming to the end of ones' self" to
continue. Few have stepped over the line into the abandonment He desires
from those who claim that their lives are for His use.

IN THIS CRUCIAL HOUR
Yes… Right now even as you read and contemplate, the Lord is not
requiring acts of greatness and profound gatherings to bring glory to His
plans.The Lord Jesus says these words to those who will choose hear:
"THE SACRIFICE I WANT IS A BROKEN SPIRIT.
A BROKEN AND REPENTANT HEART,
THIS MY BRIDE, I WILL NOT DESPISE.
(PSALM 51:17)

WHAT IS IT THAT JESUS THAT JESUS WANTS FROM US-REALLY?
The obedience to do the simple, and often at times, mundane acts of
“silencing our fleshly need for action and comfort."

JESUS REQUIRES THOSE WHO WOULD BE HIS FOLLOWERS TO A RADICAL
DEVOTION AND AN EVEN MORE RADICAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD.

His followers must be meek,(this does not mean weak)
Must not retaliate,
Must go beyond the Word of God’s “rules and regulations”
And instead, understand its spirit.
They must do what is right when only God is looking,
Must depend on God for their needs,
And pursue His interests rather than their own.

HIS DEVOTED FOLLOWERS MUST LEAVE SPIRITUAL MEASUREMENTS
OF OTHERS' HEARTS AND ACTIONS, “SEEMINGLY GOOD OR BAD”
- TO GOD.

In short, true people of the kingdom live for God, not for themselves.

"ARE YOU IN AN “UNCOMFORTABLE” SEASON BECAUSE
YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO WALK THE NARROW PATH?

But small is the gate
and narrow the path that leads to life,
And only a few find it.
Matthew 7:14

THIS IS THE AGONY THAT TURNS INTO A GODLY DELIGHT!
When we fully realize that only God the Father can be the full and well
trusted Redeemer and Rescuer in all of our life situations right now!

So Fear not!
He is dealing with the hearts of those who still cling to hidden control over
their brothers and sisters.

HE IS SEARCHING EACH HEART WHO CALLS HIM LORD!
He is allowing a spiritual discontentment and a holy frustration to stir up
all unsatisfied and unfulfilled hearts until they begin to wail out loud,
How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
Psalm 13:1

THE LORD IS TRAINING US!
And if you wonder why there is such a limited level of joy and rest in your
heart, it is because until you have a heart that is broken and repentant for
assuming you are allowed to call the shots in your decision making in this
life He will not expose you to His full measure of Glory!

Psalm 19:13 (CEV)
Don't let me do wrong on purpose, Lord,
Or let sin have control over my life.
Then I will be innocent, and not guilty of some terrible fault.

IT IS TRUE THAT THE KINGDOM IS AVAILABLE TO US ONLY
BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

But! Genuine faith means genuinely embracing and yielding to God's reign
not simply acknowledging it and then passing it by as if it did not exist.

The kingdom is a treasure, and those who really believe it
will sacrifice everything else in their lives for its agendas.

Professed Christians who crave worldly wealth and position but are not
nearly as excited and consumed with the advancing of God's kingdom,
really need to take a brutal and laser piercing look at the true state of their
souls.

When we preach that people who simply “pray a prayer” will automatically
be saved from hell regardless of whether they truly commit their lives to
Christ and commit to trust that He is saving them from sin (from
selfishness, from going their way instead of his), we preach a message
other than the one our Lord has taught us.

2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this
inscription:"The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who
confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

Romans 10:9 (CEV
So you will be saved, if you honestly say,
"Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart
that God raised him from death.

ONCE WE OBEY…HE WILL RETURN WITH HIS FRESH AND SWEET JOY!

Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—
Now let me rejoice.
Psalm 51:8

IT IS AN INTENSE STRUGGLE TO CHOOSE TO BE EXPOSED BEFORE GOD!
But the delight of allowing nothing of the soul to influence your decisions
when the Lord speaks and gives command far outweighs this present
suffering between spirit and flesh!

If you put yourself above others, you will be put down.
But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.
Matthew 23:12 (CEV)

MANY WHO ARE NOW HIDDEN AND YES, BEAT DOWN, TESTED, RIDICULED
AND SEEMINGLY FORGOTTEN, WILL SHORTLY PASS THROUGH THE OPEN DOORSOF FRESH OPPORTUNITIES…

…AND PATHWAYS OF TRUTH WILL LEAD THEM.

He makes me strong again.
He leads me in the way of living right with Himself
Which brings honor to His name.

" MEPHIBOSHETH – A PROMISE FOR THE
DISPLACED AND BROKEN HEARTED"

2 Samuel 9 vs 11b-13
“Mephibosheth ate at David's table as one of the king's sons.

Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, for he ate endlessly at the
king's table, even though he was crippled in both feet.”

Ephesians 5: 25b 32

“Just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to
make her holy and completed, to perfect her by the washing
with water through the word, and to establish her to himself as
an exultant church, without imperfection or wrinkle or any other
defect, but holy and guiltless.

After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and
cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- 30 for we are
members of his body.”

This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the
church.”

MEPHIBOSHETH:
MEANING ONE WHO SUFFERS SHAME

The name was a joining by two members of the family of Saul -
his son and his grandson. Let's look at this man Mephibosheth.
His life is a picture of a life of disaster, disappointment, and
anxiety. You think you have troubles?

In reading the story we already know that Mephibosheth is
motherless and fatherless, because he is under the care of a
nurse.

2 Samuel 4:4 also says that at the age of five his father,
Jonathan, David's best friend, was killed in battle along with
Jonathan's father, King Saul. To add injury to insult, we are told
that when Mephibosheth's nurse heard the news of the murder
of Jonathan and Saul, she panicked as she ran from harm's
way. And in her running, the nurse dropped the child - causing
him to become crippled. So the baby prince who was in the line
of succession to the throne became a crippled beggar living as
an orphan in hiding. What should have been a life of wealth
became a life of misery, tragedy and heartbreak.

While his family was being assassinated, murdered, and
banished, his future, as a king would never be fulfilled.

AND MORE THAN THAT,
MEPHIBOSHETH WAS PERMANENTLY SCARRED

We can relate to Mephibosheth's being a victim of sad
circumstance. Perhaps you can even testify to being victimized
by other's mistakes for yourself. Like Mephibosheth who trusted
his nurse, some of us can relate to being dropped by those in
whom we've placed our trust. We're living crippled lives because
a person in whom we loved and gave our hearts to...has
dropped us.

JUST LIKE MEPHIBOSHETH WE KNOW WHAT IT FEELS
LIKE TO BE DROPPED BY SOMEONE OR SOMETHING…
…THAT WE'VE TRUSTED.

Our lives are still suffering from the crippling effects of those
disappointments. Everyone has been "dropped" in some way.
And if you haven't, you will be. Some are still so proud in heart
that they never admit to any weakness and therefore shame
those around them who stumble their way to cross of
redemption. It's no wonder that we are afraid to trust again
because we've been lied to or used as scapegoats for the
escape of others who hide their sins and egos behind loud
opinions about how others should behave or...might have done
better in the way they have handled the things that have
happened in their life's journey!

MANY ARE AFRAID TO TAKE CHANCES
BECAUSE OF PAST FAILURES.

Many more are afraid to follow their heart because the plain idea
of making one more mistake sends shivers through them. We
can't handle another anguish. Sometimes it feels as though we
are hanging on by a fine thread. If God is a merciful God, we
wonder when we're going to start seeing the mercy. Our words
echo the psalmist as our soul cries out, "Lord, have mercy on
me!" "Have mercy on me, Lord"

BUT THE THING IS, THERE IS MERCY...
...IF YOU WILL SEE IT.

If you will allow that mercy to saturate your soul. If you'll see that
you have an important role to play in that mercy. In fact, "mercy"
is really the only reason that you and I are existing today,
whether you know that or not. You are here today because at
some level - consciously or subconsciously - you know that God
has been and is merciful to you and you are expressing your
appreciation for that mercy. You are here today because you
know that despite the hurts that have been inflicted upon you,
you want to trust, you want to go on, and you want to find hope.

THE TRUTH IS THAT THERE IS BOTH A BIT OF
MEPHIBOSHETH AND…
…A BIT OF KING DAVID IN ALL OF US.

And perhaps… a bit of King Saul's fear of the loss of power,
position, and need for control and honor. That is, we have been
hurt, but we have also been healed. We have been helped, and
we also have opportunity to help others. We really have
received mercy, and we can offer mercy as well.

WHEN MEPHIBOSHETH WAS CALLED INTO DAVID'S
PRESENCE, HE WAS TERRIFIED!

Why shouldn't he be? As the grandson of dead King Saul,
Mephibosheth was an heir to the throne that David now
possessed. So his first thought was that the king would kill him
because he might see him as a threat. Secondly, Mephibosheth
has experienced little in his life that would make him believe that
something good could happen to him, so he expected injury. His
own words were, "What is your servant that you should look on
a dead dog such as I?" Then King David sent and brought him
out of the house: Mephibosheth must have been terrified when
messengers from David knocked at his door and demanded that
he come with them to see the king. In the back of his mind he
must have constantly anticipated the day when David would do
as other kings did and murder every possible enemy to his
throne.

UP TO THIS POINT MEPHIBOSHETH AND DAVID NEVER
HAD A RELATIONSHIP AND IT WAS BECAUSE
MEPHIBOSHETH WANTED IT THAT WAY.

HE AVOIDED DAVID OUT OF UNFOUNDED FEARS.
BUT DAVID REMOVES THE FEARS OF MEPHIBOSHETH.

Verses (7-8)
So David said to him, "Do not fear, for I will surely show you
kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore to you
all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at
my table continually."

Then Mephibosheth bowed himself, and said, "What is your
servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

Mephibosheth didn't feel worthy of such generosity. He
considered himself a dead dog, meaning a worthless and
insignificant person.

All the years of hiding from the king and Living in fear and
poverty made Mephibosheth thinks of himself as Worthless.

THE OFFER OF MERCY
David didn't want to add to Mephibosheth's Misery.
David offered mercy.

Mephibosheth - in his amazement and skepticism - is restored.
No, he didn't retrieve the ability to walk.
Mephibosheth's weakness did not vanish. The end of the
scripture is clear about that. "He was crippled in both feet." But
he was given a place at the table of the king. This goes far
beyond giving Mephibosheth what was rightly his.

THE HONOR OF A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE KING
David gave Mephibosheth the honor of a close relationship with
the king. The miserable, unfair, undeserved events of his past
didn't change. But he was re-established within the kingdom and
given an opportunity to live out the rest of his life with dignity.
Because David - the King - was merciful.

DAVID KNOWS THAT HE HAS BEEN AN OBJECT OF GOD'S
MERCY IN HIS LIFE.

That he has already been delivered from extreme circumstances
and from ...his own unpredictable behavior.

David is merciful, because he has received mercy - a melody that
will continue throughout David's entire life, even when David
didn't deserve mercy. And - on another level - David knows that,
as he acts as the status of king - also by God's anointing, and
not his own skill - that he must model the mercy of God within
the kingdom.

BLEMISHES OF THE "CRIPPLED" BRIDE
Just like in Ephesians 5 were the blemishes of the "crippled"
bride...she is much like Mephibosheth. Hiding, fearful! And....the
King of our souls, Jesus...restores and cleanses us...brings us
to His table as His Bride and covers our lameness, our
disfigurement underneath the linens of the bridegroom's table
where no one dare point out our imperfections. We are
perfected BY His Mercy! David knew that human beings and a
society that exist without forgiveness and mercy are already
doomed to self-destruction by their bitter doubt.

JESUS DIED FOR THIS VERY REASON.
SO THAT WE MIGHT MODEL HIS KIND OF GUTSY
FORGIVENESS AND MERCY.

AND SO THE STORY FALLS TO US AS EMERGING
LEADERS IN THE KING'S KINGDOM!

We who are like Mephibosheth who have been injured by
dreadful circumstances and by careless people; and we who are
like David, have the opportunity to be instruments of mercy.

We who are like Mephibosheth and David who have received
mercy; and we who must decide if we will live lives of
resentment because of prejudiced facts or ...live lives of gratitude
because of undeserved and unexpected mercy.
The story falls now to us.

BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE.
AS WE HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED,
WE HAVE ALSO BEEN DELIVERED.

Remember, David - the King - had to decide if his kingdom would
be one of dread or grace. David had to decide if his realm was
going to be established on grounds of vengeance or the
refinement of mercy. In being an instrument of grace, David is setting
the stage for his great, great, great grandson Jesus, who will be
the ultimate expression of mercy to all of us. In the entire history
of humanity no one was more misunderstood or viciously
abused than David's ultimate successor, Jesus.

Yet no person was ever more merciful.

AS HEIRS OF DAVID AND CHRIST IT IS NOW UP TO US TO
PUT INTO PRACTICE THE VERY TREASURE THAT DAVID
HONORED IN THIS STORY.

Loyalty, respect, unwavering love, and the well being of others.
Like David did for Mephibosheth, God has honored and blessed
us with the promise of eternal life, inviting us to dine at His table
in His kingdom eternally. Also, God does this, not because of
any goodness upon our part, but "because of Jesus."

THAT IS WHY WE ARE HERE TODAY …
AND WHY WE ARE PART OF THE BRIDE OF JESUS CHRIST.

WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN BROKEN.

And because He has restored - and is restoring - US by His
mercy, He invites us to His table, we MUST look around to see
who else needs a place at the table, on His behalf! Not out of
our great "earned reputations" or past accomplishments!

No!
We as models of the Fatherly and Motherly compassion of a
heavenly King invite others, to the table of "covering" and honor.
We bring mercy, expressed with "tender hearts." The best
person to want to be like is not always the strongest or the best
looking!! When we become like Mephibosheth, we can truly
understand mercy and grace.

BEING LIKE MEPHIBOSHETH MEANS:

1. Realizing that the king sought me out.
2. Understanding what I deserved from the king.
3. Acknowledging the ones who brought me to the king.
4. Humbling myself in the sight of the king.
5. Rejoicing in the words of the king.
6. Accepting the provision of the king.
7. Adjusting my life to the requests of the king.

Psalm 51:12
Restore to me again the joy of your salvation,
And make me willing to obey you.

“DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS”-A PROPHETIC WORD

Dear Global Family in Christ,

I was impressed strongly by the Lord to share this word again

with you. Yesterday, I traveled to Antonio Texas to minister there.
As we pulled out of the pick up zone from the airport, my eyes were
drawn to a HUGE banner on a construction wall nearby.
The words on the banner read;

“DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!”

Shortly after that, I knew it was confirmation for me to share this word
from the Lord for the state of Texas yet again.

What I share in this prophetic word could apply to many other
locations in the World as well, but at this time, the Lord would
have this word be a direct insight for the People of Faithfulness
in that location.

There is much travail occurring in the heart of many hidden
intercessors in Texas as they pray for continued moves of
God globally

FOR MANY MONTHS THE LORD HAS BEEN SPEAKING TO ME
ABOUT THE STATE OF TEXAS.
Often I would wake up in the morning singing a verse of a famous
cultural song from that state.

“The Stars at night
Are big and Bight!
Deep in the Heart of Texas!”

The Lord began to speak about what is “DEEP” in His heart
regarding the State of Texas.”

He impressed me with the many people I have had relationship
with in that State.

The kindness, the hospitality, and the graciousness that is so
often mentioned when people describe “Southern Hospitality.”

But it is more than that to the Lord.
The King of Heaven would speak the following words to the
believers in Texas.

BORDERS AND BOUNDARIES

The focus in these days ahead of you will be a political playing
card regarding the southern borders of Texas and Mexico.
And, although many have opinions and strong feeling regarding
immigration and border patrols, I the Lord have a Higher thought
and Divine Way of dealing with man’s ideas and concepts.

Isaiah 55:8

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
Neither are your ways my ways,"
Declares the LORD.

I have a ways of shedding light on the deceptive ways of man
and can expose the most secret of agendas. In order for you to
have safety about your borders, you must first have hearts of
integrity in dealing with others.

A CALL TO BUILD A WALL - IN PRAYER!

The Lord impressed me with the words
: “ A wall built by man or a wall built by Prayer?”

If My people view men as their enemies and attempt with natural
means to keep evil men and their trades and wares from crossing
the borders, then they will continually be battling against a breach in
the man made walls made to attempt to repel intruders.

Your enemy is a spiritual stronghold allowed access because the
prayer walls of the saints have been neglected says the Lord.

BRING BACK THE GLORY!

The Father in Heaven declares to the Christian believers in Texas
that it is now in their hands to begin the offensive against those
evil spirits assigned to tear down the borders of safety, the freedom
of Christian heritage, and attacks against the rich resources in
the land.

When there is a roar from those who choose to lift their heads in
prayer, in fervent prayer and intercession, instead of the hanging
down of the head and ignoring the call to intercession, then you
will see my Glory rise like a shield around you. I will spoil the
plans of evildoers and those intent on destruction and chaos.

RETURN TO YOUR PRAYER WATCHES

. Return to fasting and seeking of My heart and you will watch as
I keep My promise to Shield you with Yy Glory. Let the Gatekeepers
of the state, those called to pray for what may and may not cross the
boundaries of your state, rise up in the true fear of God.

Sober yourselves and allow my Spirit to give you strategies that
will bind the strongman.

Stop all competition and religious posturing saints!
I am calling you to lift up the gates of prayer and My Glory will be
your shield.

Psalm 24:9
Lift up your heads,
O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Psalm 85:9
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.

GENEROUS AND BIG HEARTED

Due to the faithful and generous hearts of many Texans,
the Lord will repay in measure to those with the true heartfelt
compassion shown and expressed to the destitute and
disenfranchised.

The Lord has seen the abundance of giving and caring for those
that are orphans and others who have had great loss.

“I the Lord of loving, remind you that even if there are those
among you that have not fairly entered your land, you are to not
take advantage of them in the workplace. You are to treat them
Fairly as you would any other man. My Mercy endures forever and
must be an attribute of the example of My life expressed through yours.

Deuteronomy 24:14-15
“Do not take advantage of a hired man, who is poor and needy
Whether he is a brother Israelite or an alien living in one of
your towns.
Pay him his wages each day before sunset, because he is poor
and is counting on it. Otherwise he may cry to the LORD against you
and you will be guilty of sin.”

NEW HIDDEN TREASURES AND NATURAL RESOURCES

The Spirit of God is starting to reveal more hidden natural resources
and will reveal brilliant new technologies within the Marketplaces of
humble Men and Women of God.

Many of the defunct and rusted away Oil research venues will
be reopened due to new surprising technologies that have been
developing in the hearts and hands of men of God who have passed
though long and fiery seasons of tempering and refocusing of values.

Even the surrounding coastal areas on the Gulf will begin to spring
up with surprising water technologies that will stun industry moguls.
This will be a sign of the Providence of God for your land.

I The Lord will continue to expose the drug traders and attempts of
terrorist plotting on your coastal shores as you raise up a wall of
worship and intercession in My name.

I shall keep you safe as you join in rebuilding the walls of Prayer.
BUT!
This must be done in humility. Any positioning or posturing will only
prolong the work I long to do among you. Repentance from dead
works, pride, smugness, and spiritual elitism will bring my Presence
Back into your places of influence and service.

Psalm 78:53
He guided them safely, so they were unafraid;
but the sea engulfed their enemies.

REFRESHING THE HEART OF TEXAS

I the Lord of everlasting Joy have a move of great Glory and great
proportions hovering within the wings of My Divine Plan.

Those who have waited humbly and faithfully to see a transformation
and a restoring of honoring the Freedom of my Spirit to flow in
gatherings held among Believers, will begin to see me “interrupt”
man’s well planned service structures.

My Spirit will visit in sudden and sweeping waves of holiness
and peace. Weeping will be a commonplace event as saints find
themselves gently driven to their knees in adoration, repentance,
and hunger.

Adoration- of the Presence of My Holy Spirit,
Repentance - for resisting His Movement and freedom to have liberty.
Hunger - A rekindling of the Spiritual appetite for extended times of
worship and praise mixed with Intercession for cities, States,
and leaders of Nations!

At times there will be what would be called “wonders and signs”
in the heavens. This may well be he release of rain in your drought
stricken condition.

Again I will visit you with visible manifestations of My Presence.
Some will hear angelic voices singing of My Holiness. Some will see
visions of My Presence. Many will again hear the call to Go into all
the World.

And again, Texas will be known for its missionary heart to the World.”

Psalm 86:9
All the nations you have made will come and worship before you,
O Lord; They will bring glory to your name.

FINDING THE FAITHFUL- “ELEGANT SIMPLICITY”

There is no way to explain or express the absolute joy of ministering in a place where
the presence of the Holy Spirit is allowed full access and expression among those
who are attending.

Less than a week ago I had the delight and honor to be in such a place.
Mind you, I have been there before and have built loving relationships with
many in this location.

A NEW CAST OF COLOR, A FRESH EXPRESSION
As we see the Lord changing the canvas and broadening the expression of His
kingdom, things have begun to take on a new cast of color, a fresh expression,
a purity that only those who have done the things that He has requested in their
personal lives understand.

A TRUE DAVID’S HEART IN WORSHIP
In this place where I recently visited, there is what I would call the expression of a
true David’s heart in worship. Every individual involved in creating an atmosphere
for the presence of God to inhabit was fully engaged in honoring and bringing joy to
the heart of the Father. Privately and Personally, Corporately and Individually.

David and the whole house were celebrating with all their might before the LORD,
with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, sistrums and cymbals.
2 Samuel 6:5

There was no flashy presentation, no low cut blouses, no “grooviness” or need to
ramp up the crowd. Oh no! The hearts were ready for full personal involvement with
honoring and adoring the “One”.

Yes. There had probably been untold hours of rehearsing and practicing each chord,
each note, each song. But it had been done with joy, and deep reverence for the
responsibility each held in bringing the body into a place of being escorted into the
presence of the King of glory.

So often, it is a let down to see the large performance and the flashiness of
attempting to impress and incite people to wake up and worship. And I mean
literally attempting to get people to “themselves” step into a place of deep
personal relationship with the Master.

“ELEGANT SIMPLICITY”
Some may think that the location of where I was might not be as nearly impressive
and highly tailored as one might assume, in order to attract and draw individuals into
such a glorious and mighty experience. But you see, that was the beauty of this
whole gathering. It was Elegant Simplicity.

The adornment was the humility and reverence of the Father, Son and Spirit.
As the Lord moved in with His Presence and Plan, little children were spontaneously
filled with the spirit and spoke out unafraid in their prayer language from heaven
. Young adults and teens were boldly risking out loud, calling on God to reveal
himself to them personally, and He did. Words of Knowledge and words of
Wisdom flowed with clarity and honor, with loving warnings and also with
validation and confirmation. Many openly repented of shutting out the voice of
God, and asked again for “fresh ears to hear.”

The young couples attending were drawn into a deeper commitment to mentor
young sheep in the flock they are a part of, and many of these couples asked
the Father to deepen their commitment to prayer with each other.

Prodigals came to an additional service that was unplanned and spontaneous.
And again, Father met them face to face, After all, He had been waiting,
patiently on the road, watching for their return.

A GENTLE AND UNFETTERED “LIFTING OF THE SAILS”
I have seen in the past few weeks, a gentle and unfettered “lifting of the sails”
in many people’s lives that have been struggling, suffering and agonizing.
It is as if Father has said to them (and maybe you too!).”Lift up your sails again.
Tattered or not, lift them!!
Look again for the stirring of My winds and My Holy Spirit! You cannot attempt to
capture or direct this wind or you will utterly be left stalled out. Throw out the oars
of control into the waters and let Me blow you into a fresh direction.
A course yet uncharted by you or others.”

“The wind blows wherever it pleases.
You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from
or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."
John 3:8

FRESH AND PASSIONATE SONGS OF WORSHIP BLOSSOMING
I have heard fresh and passionate songs of worship blossoming from many
worship servants lately. These have gorgeous and haunting melodies and words
that break stony hearts and bring repentance to those caught up in
driven performance. These melodies are the songs of the Kingdom. Rich, warm,
tasty to the soul, and food to the spirit.

YES!
THE “HARP” OF DAVID IS SOOTHING AND SINGING AGAIN IN THE EARTH.
Although the Saul spirit is still alive and well, and attempts to shame, discredit,
and mock, it shall not prevail. The Lord has called forth His Pure hearted ones from
every tribe, every tongue and nation, every age and generation. The sound is
one of Purity, Simplicity, Perseverance and honor among saints.

But an evil spirit (allowed by the Lord, due to Saul’s pride) came upon Saul as he
was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand.
While David was playing the harp.

DO YOU HEAR IT TOO? DO YOU WANT THIS DIVINE BLISS?
There is a lighthouse in the wilderness in the southern part of Texas called
Markham Texas. Coffee is always ready, worship is continuously flowing,
discipleship is constant, and mentors are plentiful.

And…
…Forgiveness…reigns.

From Infants to Grandparents there was a wonderful mixture of life, organized chaos,
and abundant sharing. It was a joy, a gift, a treasure, to minister among these dear
ones all of last week.

"POISONING THE MISSION FIELD OF THE KINGDOM"

It is really rather amazing that any of us are ever really useful the Lord
when we begin to examine the "secret sins" that are active in our lives,
sometimes in our ministries, and in the way the bride of the King has
presented herself.

HEAR THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT WITH YOUR SPIRIT FIRST...
...THEN WITH YOUR MIND.

I say this because if not discerned and embraced by the spirit first…
...the soul will immediately defend itself and bluster and spit in shock that
anyone might imply that is has the stated problem!

"ARROGANCE IS A DISEASE THAT MAKES EVERYONE SICK...
... EXCEPT THE ONE WHO HAS IT!"

IN THIS MODERN AGE OF, "IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU BABY"
… …ARROGANCE IS ALMOST APPLAUDED AS A SUPER TALENT TO SUCCESS!

Politicians boast of their greatness to lead, TV personalities shred other
individuals on live Programs and, sadly, many who have claimed to be
"servants" of the Lord have competed, slandered, and have positioned
themselves as "the most recent cutting edge" in ministry!
Little people…get out of the way!

REMEMBER! EVEN THE DISCIPLE PETER HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE!
He presumed to tell the Lord what would never happen in His ministry!
The actual crucifixion!

EVEN THE RICH YOUNG RULER, WHO APPEARED TO BE A GENTEEL AND
HONORING INDIVIDUAL WAS ARROGANT enough to think that he could
travel with Jesus and gain further stature without having to lay down all of
his own well-earned endowments!

He actually thought that having obeyed the commandments since he was
a small child and being good would be the way to keep his wealth and
cushy lifestyle! This is the subtle disease of arrogance! He didn't think he
had it! In fact…he might have thought that his financial settings would
endear him to Jesus and the twelve disciples because he could provide a
more comfortable lifestyle for all of them while they ministered.

Oh! He went away sad, but not broken. He was sad that he had to choose
between his rich and public securities and…a humble life with Jesus.
Matthew (19)

LISTEN TO WHAT THE LORD PROPHESIED TO US IN ISAIAH
ABOUT THE VERY SAME ISSUE.

And the word of One will go forth, "Cast up, cast up (to throw something
away from yourself, usually with force) Prepare the way! Take up the
stumbling block out of the way of the spiritual return of My people."

For this is what The High and Almighty One has to say—
He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy:

"I dwell in the high and holy place, but I also dwell with him who is of a
thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive, to reawaken the spirit of
the humble and to reinstate the heart of the thoroughly broken bruised
with sorrow for their sin."
Isaiah 57:14-15

HERE ARE SOME THESAURUS AND DICTIONARY DESCRIPTIONS
OF THE WORD ARROGANCE:

ARROGANCE:
The act or habit of making uncalled-for claims in an overbearing manner;
that species of pride which consists in exorbitant claims of rank, dignity,
estimation, or power, or which exalts the worth or importance of the
person to an undue degree; proud contempt of others; lordliness; haughtiness

ARROGANT:
High-handed, disdainful, haughty, high-and-mighty, insolent, lordly,
overbearing, condescending, superior example

: RELATED WORDS: domineering, bossy, dictatorial; exaggerated, false,
highfalutin, assumed, ostentatious

IDIOM: too big for one's britches

IF WE ARE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD WE ARE TO BE HUMBLE
and fully aware of our need for daily brokenness and a deep daily need for
re- consecration of our reasons to follow Jesus.

THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE THE CHILDREN OF GOD ARE TO REFLECT HUMILITY.

IN REGARD TO SATAN'S KINGDOM,
HE IS SAID TO BE A 'KING OVER ALL THE CHILDREN OF PRIDE.'

Proverbs 21
24-Mockers are proud and haughty; they act with boundless arrogance.

WE CANNOT ARROGANTLY ASSUME THAT BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN USED MIGHTILY FOR
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN SIGNS AND WONDERS, PROPHETIC UTTERANCES, SPEAKING TO MULTITUDES,
GIVERS OF ABUNDANT SUMS, OR HAVE WRITTEN A BOOK - THAT WE HAVE A SPECIAL RIGHT TO BE
HONORED OR A RIGHT TO HAVE OTHERS "LISTEN UP" AND HEAR WHAT WE HAVE TO IMPART!

WE MUST DECREASE, AND HE …THE ONE…
THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS NO ARROGANCE…MUST INCREASE.

LOOK! NOBODY'S TEACHINGS OR PRACTICES ARE BEYOND BIBLICAL JUDGMENT —
ESPECIALLY INFLUENTIAL LEADERS.

Biblically, authority and accountability go hand in hand. (e.g., Luke 12:48)
The greater the responsibility one holds, the greater the accountability one has before
God and His people.

TEACHERS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL NOT TO MISLEAD ANY BELIEVER,
for their calling carries with it a strict judgment (James 3:1).
They should therefore be grateful when sincere Christians take the time
to question them about the teaching and yes, even possibly bring
correction to correct whatever unsound doctrine they may be preaching.
And should the criticisms be groundless they should respond in the
manner prearranged by Scripture: to correct misguided doctrinal
opposition with GENTLE instruction (2 Tim. 2:25).

THERE IS OF COURSE ANOTHER SIDE TO THIS ISSUE:

CRITICISM OFTEN CAN BE SINFUL,
leading to rebellion and unnecessary division. Christians should respect the
leaders that God has given them (Heb. 13:17).
Theirs is the task of assisting the church in its spiritual growth and doctrinal understanding (Eph. 4:11-16).

At the same time believers should be aware that false teachers will arise among
the Christian fold (Acts 20:28; 2 Pet. 2:1).

This makes it very important for us to test all things by Scripture, as the Bereans
were highly praised for doing when they examined the words of the apostle Paul
(Acts 17:11)

PRAY THIS SIMPLE PRAYER WITH ME WON'T YOU?
“Lord, help all of us as your servants to keep the subtle disease of
arrogance and it's influences, far from us. Teach us oh precious king how
to model apostolic mercy, pastoral humility, and open repentance before
those whom we instruct and serve in your kingdom.” AMEN

Led by the Father - “THIS THING HE IS DOING!”

ALL OF US ARE INDIVIDUALLY SOMEHOW BEING LED BY THE FATHER...

...INTO OPERATIONS OF THE HEART.


He is testing us deeply to see if we long for any power from the pull of glory, revelation, or any spiritual insights.

I TRULY SEE HIM TESTING US ALL IN DEEPER REGIONS OF OUR SOULS THAN WE EVER DREAMED EXISTED.

THIS THING HE IS DOING!
It is a precision operation that "lasers" away everything fraudulent, empty, and embellished! He is driving us lovingly to simplicity, loyalty, and Divine purposes. None of which we can achieve or fathom with our talents, educations, skills, or wit!

The Lord longs to show you His favor.
He wants to give you His tender love.
The Lord is a God who is always fair.
Blessed are all those who wait for Him to act.
Isaiah 30:18 (NIRV)

DETERMINED TO PURSUE IN OBEDIENCE
When we are determined to pursue in obedience a true faith in Christ, we will encounter those things of the soul that can so easily get us off of the track that we are attempting to run on in order to collect the crown of victory! The things that so easily overwhelm us are those we tend to be affected by. Usually it is something that we have struggles with or have been exposed to, from habits, age, or upbringing.

THIS IS A MOST IMPORTANT WARNING ABOUT DEALING WITH THOSE "PAINFUL WOUNDS" AND "DEEP LOSSES"!
They will attempt to take from us every motive for moving forward, and gives power and energy to every discouragement. When we are weary and faint in our minds, let us remember that Jesus suffered, to save us from eternal misery.

BY INTENTIONALLY LOOKING TO JESUS,
Our thoughts will be strengthened by holy affections, and keep our self loving desires in a place of intensified focus on the Presence of the Lord. We need to habitually think about Him! What are our little trials to his agonies, or even to our deserts? What are they to the sufferings of many others?

THERE IS A TENDENCY IN US AS BELIEVERS TO GROW WEARY,
and to collapse under trials and afflictions. This is because we still need to understand the mercy and full power of that thing called "grace." We are not built for a filthy world and the pressures of hellish spewing. We were created for adoration, worship and resting in the Presence of God and then, with Godly strength, to subdue the earth. But Hell is roaring it's ugly breath and venom on the earth, attempting to paralyze the believer, robbing him of Faith, Hope and Love!

Psalm 25:21
May integrity and uprightness protect me,
Because my hope is in you.

WE AS FOLLOWERS OF THE LORD OF GRACE
must come to understand that trials and yes…even accusations from enemies and persecutors may be instruments to inflict sufferings, yet they are Divinely Allowed! Our heavenly Father has His hand in all of this and His wisdom will give a final answer to all of this "sifting of out souls!"


THE OPPOSITE OF BRAVERY IS NOT COWARDICE…

WE MUST NOT JUST GIVE IN TO A FATALISTIC GLOOM!
That horrid oppressiveness where we feel that no help or hope is coming to free us! God may let others remain alone in their sins, but He WILL correct wrongdoing in his own children. This is what a Father would do to a stubborn or gloomy child, who mopes around in a moodiness accompanied by a big black rain cloud! Perhaps your earthly parents corrected you to indulge their anger, rather than to change your manners. But the Father of our souls never eagerly hurts or brings down His children. It is always for our benefit.

OUR WHOLE LIFE HERE IS A POSITION OF CHILDHOOD,
and we are imperfect when it comes to fully understanding spiritual things.
That is why we must we must yield- and in a real sense, "give in" to this place of loving care and preparation.

GOD'S CORRECTION IS NOT DISAPPROVAL!
When we are willing to let God walk the secret hallways of our soul and humbly allow Him to shine the light of purity and truth on all of our opinions about how things should be done in His Kingdom, this brokenness and self-exposure greatly increases personal purity!

THE CALLOUSNESS AND MEANNESS OF MEN
May we learn to trust that the pain brought on us by the callousness and meanness of men, is actually an instrument the Lord allows to show us that no one can be depended upon fully in this world. He is the Ultimate Source of Hope. This is so important for our weariness and is sent by our wise and gracious Father, for our spiritual good and maturing.

THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WALKED WHERE YOU HAVE WALKED
will have heaps of suggestions and tidbits suggesting as to what you need to do. Imagine dear Jesus, having been stripped of heavenly riches, coming here to earth, and then to be spat upon, beaten laughed at and murdered. The advice of many was to have Him rise up and prove himself right and righteous.

He did.

He suffered in the Garden, wrestling with the trauma he knew that would only get worse. And He then suffered the loss of even the last final physical bit of ownership He had by having even his clothing gambled away by his murderers.

OH YES DEAR CHILD OF GOD! HE DOES KNOW OUR SORROWS-
and pains and He will not flippantly give you an intolerant glance when you need comfort. His Mercy is one that endures with us, forever.

THE CLAMOR AND ROAR OF NOISE THAT MAN MAKES
when he needs to make a point, often exposes his weaknesses as well. All the more reason we need to be certain that we are listening to the calm, sure, still, small Voice of God. He will give us safety and direction in the most terrifying of times and in each business decision, each child's life in your care, and in each destiny point you are facing.
